Being Kind to Yourself & Others

Many of our problems arise from being too hard on ourselves and others; learn ways to think differently! In this series of classes, we’ll discover how to stop obsessing about being perfect and how to be gentle with ourselves and others instead. (Scroll down to see full details of each class)

You will need an email address and a phone, laptop, tablet or computer on which to watch the class. By accessing this service, you agree not to share the link, not to watch with others who have not bought the ticket, and not to record any part of the audio or video class. Booking will stay open until 30 minutes after the start of the class. You will receive a link by email to join the live-streamed class. All our online events are open to either anyone who would have booked to attend in person under normal pre-pandemic circumstances or residents of Manitoba.  For a centre near you, click here.

July 4: Taking Away Suffering (1) – Putting our compassion into practice first for ourself

July 11: Giving Pure Happiness (1) – The generous pure heart of practical love

Discover the benefits of giving love, Meditation on the breath, Giving love – the practice of giving our own happiness, Meditation on transforming our body into a wishfulfilling jewel.

July 18: Taking Away Suffering (2) – Now putting our compassion into practice for the benefit of others

Discover the benefits of taking / background info on compassion, Meditation on the breath, What is correct imagination and why it works?, Meditation on taking others’ suffering.

July 25: Giving Pure Happiness (2) – How to create a pure world filled with pure beings

Introduction to the benefits of giving love, Meditation on the breath, Discover the practice of giving love, Meditation on giving love.

Aug. 15: The Supreme Good Heart of Bodhichitta – There is no greater beneficial intention than this
