Do past harms and negative experiences play on your mind? Is there someone in your life whose mistakes you want to forgive, but just can’t shake the feelings of resentment?  The solution lies in the view we have of ourself and others.

Known as the ‘holy secret’ the practice of exchanging self with others is a heart practice of Kadampa Buddhists which can transform our negative experience into love, forgiveness and powerful compassion. This practice, at the very heart of the ‘training the mind’ (Lojong) teachings and meditations is extraordinarily powerful for helping improve our relationships, solve our daily problems and be of genuine benefit to others.

Change Your Karma – Create the Life you Want

The Sutra of the three Superior Heaps

Half-Day Workshop | Saturday, 13 November 1.00 – 4.00 pm

Session 1: 1.00 – 2.15 pm

Session 2: 2.45 am – 4.00 pm

Because of the negative actions that we have created in the past under the influence of deluded minds we now experience suffering and problems, as well as difficulties in developing faith and conviction in spiritual practice and in making progress on the path to enlightenment. But no matter how negative our mind is we have the opportunity to purify it completely by engaging in purification, the root of future happiness and spiritual realizations.

In this workshop, we will discover the practice of the Thirty-five Confession Buddhas which combines prostrations and recitation of the Sutra of the Three Superior Heaps. Through following these instructions, our spiritual path will be light and joyful.

From time to time, if we are not making much progress with our meditation, we can emphasize practising this special ritual prayer for purification. This is also important during retreats.” – Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
