About the Class: This series of classes is based on the book The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. This precious book reveals the uncommon practice of Tantric Mahamudra of the Ganden Oral Lineage, which the author received directly from his Spiritual Guide, Vajradhara Trijang Rinpoche. It explains clearly and concisely the entire spiritual path from the initial preliminary practices to the final completion stages of Highest Yoga Tantra that enable us to attain full enlightenment in this life. Following the root text of Mahamudra, The Main Path of the Conquerors by the first Panchen Lama, this remarkable book provides extremely clear and easy to understand explanations and insignts based on the author’s experiences during many years of retreat.
About the Teacher: Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is the Resident Teacher of KMC Canada and the NKT National Spiritual Director for Canada. An internationally renowned Teacher, he is greatly admired for his deep understanding and experience of Buddha’s teachings and his ability to convey their meaning in a clear and accessible way. In Person Attendance: Please register choosing the ‘in person’ option in the form below. In advance of your arrival, you must complete the below COVID-19 Active Screening Form prior to entering the Temple or do so immediately when you arrive. All data is collected as a requirement to our local Toronto Public Health Department and will be kept for 30 days and then deleted. Please adhere to all protocols given by local bylaws while you are at the temple such as but not limited to wearing a mask indoors, washing your hands or using hand sanitizer when you arrive/leave and as necessary and maintain minimum of 2 m social distance from anyone not in your household at all times.
