Learn simple meditations to de-stress, relax, and develop a positive outlook on life!

Positive thinking is a skill that everyone can learn and develop. By using simple, time-tested meditation techniques, we can learn to think and act positively. Maintaining a positive outlook builds inner resilience and strength, protecting us from the stressful demands of everyday life. 

You do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, and no previous experience of meditation is required.

Everybody is welcome!

Topics this week: Developing good intentions

  • Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any point.

    Our classes begin with a brief introduction, followed by an initial guided meditation to settle the mind and create a feeling of inner peace. This is followed by a talk on an aspect of meditation practice related to the series topic, and concludes with a guided meditation related to the talk.

    After each class, you are invited to participate in a Q&A session, discussion, and social time.

    You do not need to be a Buddhist to attend, and no previous experience with meditation is required.

    Everybody is welcome!

  • Kelsang Rigma

    Kelsang Rigma is a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years. She was the Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Centre Cologne, Germany, last year. She is delighted to continue to teach in Canada. She is particularly valued for her warm and open nature and her clear teachings, which always focus on the practical importance of Buddha’s teachings for our everyday life.

    How to book: You can book in advance via our website or simply drop in and register upon arrival. Pre-registration is encouraged to allow a smoother registration process and decrease your wait time at the door. Doors will open 30 minutes before the start of the event.

    To book in advance, click on the booking button below and fill out the booking form. At the end of the booking process, you will receive an email confirming your booking.

    Promo code: If you are a class pass holder, you may enter your promo code at the top of the booking form to get your discount.

    Your promo code has been given to you when you first signed up to become a class pass holder.

    Payment methods: For pre-registration via our website, we accept credit cards. For registration on site upon arrival, we accept cash, debit and credit cards.
