Creating the Causes for Future Happiness

Empowerment Weekend - Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva & Teachings on Purification with Gen Kelsang Thekchen

Good and bad experiences arise from our karma, mostly created by the actions of our previous selves in past lives. Once we understand the law of karma, we will understand how we can control our future experiences through purifying our negative karma, the source of our anxiety, unhappiness, mental and physical pain. The wonderful news is that negative karma can be purified.

Vajrasattva, the Buddha of Purification, possesses the special power to remove our negative karma.Through receiving Vajrasattva’s empowering blessings and practising his meditation and mantra recitation, we can purify all obstacles to our good fortune and happiness. This empowerment is a special opportunity to enrich our spiritual life, make swift progress on the path to enlightenment, and bring benefit to all.

An empowerment is a blissful ceremony with guided mediations through which we make a deep connection with a Buddha and receive his healing, joyful and protective blessings. This special weekend will include some guided meditations, some teachings on karma and the empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva. Everyone is welcome!

Accommodation and meals are available for this event. See below for more information. The deadline to book the Saturday lunches is Thursday March 23rd at noon.
